Default Is there a document archieve in Word?

i AM HAVING TROUBLE TRYING TO BRING UP A DOCUMENT IS THERE AN AUTO BACKUP IN
WORD THAT SAVES A COPY OF YOUR DOCUMENT AUTOMATICALLY EVEN IF YOU DON'T ASK
IT TO?

Also realize, she may also be one of the several thousand blind PC
users and may not realize that the caps lock is on. ;-)
