Default new document problems

In December my son copied guitar tabs and lyrics onto a Word document. Ever
since then, when we open up Word, we get that document. If we try to open up
a blank page, we get that document. How did that happen, and how can we get
rid of it? We're tired of having to delete it each time we open up Word.

sounds like he inadvertantly (unless your son likes to torture!) saved over
the Normal.dot template. Try this article

Hope this helps you out.

Sorry, but this did not help. However, I did receive help and a solution
from Suzanne Barnhill. Thanks for trying.
