Default How do I create a reusable variable text field in Word?

I am trying to create a piece of reusable text like a field to be used in a
word document. I want to declare a heading and use it through out the
document, in the header, as the title and within the body text. I want it
to be such that if I change the text of this field it updates everywhere it
is used as a field. I have tried using guilding blocks but i don't they will
accomplish this and i don't want to apply a document property either. I just
want a peice of reusable variable text to work like the address block would
(only i don't want it to be the address block).

thanks.
