MS Word 2000 - style sheet - headings
I would like to remove Headings 4-9 from my stylesheet, but the delete button
on all of the Headings is greyed out. Is there any way of overcoming this? Thanks, Tony |

Unfortunately, no, not in Word 2000. In Word 2002, you have more control
over what styles are displayed. In Word 2000 and earlier, the Style dropdown displays "Styles in use." And you can remove any style from that list *except* Normal, Default, Paragraph Font, Headings 1-3, and any other heading levels that have ever been used in the document. But you might try creating a fresh document and pasting all but the last paragraph of the current one into it. -- Suzanne S.
