I'm creating a drop-down menu and I can't fit the full description of the
item because it apparently has too many characters. Is there a way to increase the amount of characters allowed for a drop-down item? |

The dropdown on the Forms toolbar has absolute limits of 50 characters per
entry and 25 entries. There is no way to make it hold more. The alternative at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306258 needs some macro programming. If you want to try that, http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm will help. You might be able to use an AutoTextList field instead, if you can use shorter "titles" to let you pick from among the longer versions. See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...toTextList.htm. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
