Default Form formatting lost during email from word

I made a nice form in word and saved it as a template (.dot).

After i typed the information into the form i send the document with the
e-mail button (next to save). Unfortunally most of the formatting is lost
when it arrives at the recipients mail box (opned with outlook express /
word)

Any suggestions ?

Lars ;-)

Did you send the file as an attachment?

In that case you cannot expect your formatting to be preserved. Whether
you're sending as HTML or plain text, some recipients will choose to read
email as plain text. If you want recipients to see the document you
prepared, you need to send it as an attachment (File | Send To | Mail
Recipient (as Attachment)).
