General backup option in MS Word 2003 for all documents?
I would like to know if there is a general backup option for all my documents
in MS Word 2003, instead of ticking 'Always create backup copy' all the time for each single document? -- Teto |

That setting should be for all documents. If it doesn't stay set, something is interfering with saving your settings -- usually a misbehaving add-in. If you can't find the source of that problem, you can use the macro from http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm instead. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
