Recover a document/file after overwriting it?
When trying to copy document from home computer to USB - I answered yes when
prompted "do you want to overwrite the existing file?" Unfinished document on USB was copied to home computer. Thought I was copying finished to USB. Now both documents (home computer and USB) are unfinished. Is the work totally lost or can I retrieve it (as it was originally saved to home computer. Microsoft Windows Professional XP |

Microsoft Windows Professional XP Not without a backup, or professional harddrive recovery (expensive, and chanches of success getting slimmer the longer you're computer has been used in the meantime).
