Is there a way to prevent overwriting a file in Microsoft Word?
Is there a way to prevent overwriting a file/document in Microsoft Word? Had
an instance when trying to save document to USB - prompted to overwrite file - answered yes when rushed and not really thinking - overwrote finished draft with first version. Wondered if "overwriting" feature could be disabled? Thanks |

No. Be more careful. That's what the prompt is for.
And NEVER save documents directly to removable media such as USB. It's a sure-fire road to document corruption. Dan "Emmel" wrote in message ...
