I've never had a problem with setting tabs before. However, just recently
when I try to set the tabs in my document, no matter what I type in I get a message saying that the size is too large (even when I type 0.2"). It's like I can't set any size tabs. Is my computer just going whacko, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help! |

Does this happen with any document or with a particular one?

I happens on a copy of a document that I then moved to another file
(retaining the same file name) so that I could try formatting it a little differently. This could be a case of document corruption. Press Ctrl+A to select
the whole document, then hold Shift and press Left Arrow (to deselect the final paragraph mark), copy and paste into a new document. Does that fix the problem? For more on corruption, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Mattajang" wrote in message ...
