Is anyone using the Beta Office 2007 or am I wasting my time? Nobody seems
to know what I am talking about. I have had the Office 2007 package
downloaded over my Excel, Outlook, Word 2000. Its absolutely a menace. I
cannot get support for trying this out. I typed a letter asking for single
line spacing it does do that in the body of letter but not in the recipient's
address label nor my address label. I sent an email to my brother attaching a
document prepared in Word. Word gave it a docx extension so he was not able
to read it. How come? Help

I've been using Word 2007 for about 3-4 weeks and I'm pretty happy with it,
altho' I do NOT like the "Quick Parts" thingee at all. I want my old
AutoText function back.

On your address labels, is it possible you're using a template or AutoText
with "Normal" as the base style? where your old version of Word does NOT have
any space after the paragraph, while the default setting of "Normal" in Word
2007 does. I had a little problem with this at first but have since learned
to either change the "Normal" style or use "Normal No Spacing" style.

On the .DOCX thing, if your brother doesn't have Word 2007, then File/Save
As your document into the Word 97-2003 format (.DOC file ending) and then he
should be able to open it just fine.
