Hello;
When I convert a Word doc to PDF, the image resolution is down sampled from 300 ppi to 150 ppi. How do I maintain or change the ppi? Your help is much appreciated. Chris |

That's controlled from the Acrobat end -- check the conversion settings.

I've changed the settings in Adobe Acrobat Distiller, saved, restarted and
coverted to pdf again to no avail. Did I miss a step? "Jezebel" wrote: That's controlled from the Acrobat end -- check the conversion settings. "ChrisDx" wrote in message ... Are you actually using Distiller? (ordinary conversions direct from Word
don't normally) "ChrisDx" wrote in message ... I've changed the settings in Adobe Acrobat Distiller, saved, restarted and coverted to pdf again to no avail. Did I miss a step? Depends on your version of Acrobat, but usually PDFMaker.

This is an Adobe issue - nothing to do with Word. You should be asking about
Adobe in an Adobe forum, however, you can change the settings from the Adobe PDF menu in Word (provided by the Acrobat add-in - Change Conversion settings Advanced Settings) or from the same tools in the Adobe PDF 'printer' driver properties. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Cardlaw wrote: So how do you change the pdfmaker image resolution resampling settings? |
