Hi,
I am not running a mail merge. - I have a word doc template - using sharepoint, I have a webpart (Doc Library) and the 'new document' item points to the template - it's used by 6 people. The template prompts for the user's name & function and embeds that in to the title. It is this unique title I now want to use to save the file. That is... click save and it sets the filename to this title. Problem is, doc properties title (in the template) is populated with the first line of the doc, even if I clear it and set the template to read only - so I always end up with the same title. thanks |
