I use to be able to save my document as a Word document, and once it saved
one of my documents as docx, and now it happens every time. |

Click the Office Button then click the Word Options button & select Save
from the category list. Open the Save files in this format: list then pick the one you prefer - probably Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc).
