Are you sure that the document contains fields? Press Alt+F9; you should see
field codes within field delimiters, { }. To hide the display of field codes, press Alt+F9 again. If you find fields in the document, they could be locked. Ctrl+Shift+F11 should unlock them. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Bandicoot" wrote: Have a Word 2007 document with numerous cross-references. Using CTRL-A to select the entire document but F9 is not updating the fields. Also cannot RIGHT-CLICK on one of the fields to see "Update fields" option. |
