I need to install equation editor but it is not available under Objects
itemization. I sought out support which recommended that I reinstall (which I did) but equation editor is still not there. Is there someplace I can download this file/program? Thanksx |

Thanksx It's on the CD but isn't selected for installation by default. In the Control Panel, start Add/Remove Programs, select Office, and click the Change button. In the first screen, leave "Add or Remove Features" selected and click Next. On the second screen, check the box for "Choose advanced customization of applications" and click Next. On the third screen, expand the Office Tools item, click the Equation Editor item, and click "Run from my computer". Click the Update button. If you're prompted for it, insert the Office CD. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
