It's almost as if they wanted to make the learning curve as steep as
possible... sigh. I like to use the vertical scroll bars to navigate through large Word docs quickly. But my freshly install Word 2007 doesn't have any. 30 minutes of searching the web, AND using the Word Help, AND using online Office help turns up: nothing. I DID find helpful advice on how to do it in Word 2003: "click on Tools, then...." THERE IS NO 'TOOLS' SECTION IN WORD 2007. Rant's over, thanks for any help you can give. John |

In Word 2007 it's in the Word Advanced Options (Alt, T, O, A) then scroll down in 'Advanced' to the Display section. ============= "John Boy" John wrote in message ...
