i have just finished an web-site using word but it seems it works only when
it is accessed from the location it was created. for instance if i move the folder that contains the webpages onto another drive, when i open the main page, none of the links that this page contains won't work (the links make connections with webpages located in the same folder and therefore the files they refer to are moved...)... do i have to change the addresses the links refer to each time i move these files?...there must be another way... please help me... |

Word is a very poor tool for creating web sites. Consider using Front Page
which is easy to use and maintains all the links. Your web host may even offer Front Page as part of the package. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org george_b1004 wrote: i have just finished an web-site using word but it seems it works only when it is accessed from the location it was created. for instance if i move the folder that contains the webpages onto another drive, when i open the main page, none of the links that this page contains won't work (the links make connections with webpages located in the same folder and therefore the files they refer to are moved...)... do i have to change the addresses the links refer to each time i move these files?...there must be another way... please help me... |
