Default save speech data separately

is it possible to save speech data separately from the file you are working in?

I am working in word 2003 and using speech recognition, I want to keep the
saved speech data for later use but I don't want to keep it in the same file
as it is making the file size too the large to use effectively, I would also
like to be able to use the same data for other files as well.

Please help

thank you in advance.
