I imported a txt file into word and the data comes in with square symbols.
I tried doing a find and the symbols are not recognized. I am having to manuallay delete these and these files are very large. Is there a way that I can do a find and replace on these symbols? I turned on the paragrah marks and the squares show as a y with the .. above the y. I can't seem to find that symbol. Cany anyone assist me??? -- Becky Applications Trainer XP & 2003 Master Instructor |

Which font are you using? I have found symbols similar to those in the
Character Map accessed through Start | Programs | Accessories |System Tools | Character Map. Have you tried to copy the symbol and paste it into the Find box? -- Rae Drysdale "Becky" wrote: I imported a txt file into word and the data comes in with square symbols.
