How can I change autocorrect to type 1/2 with the slash not make it into a
fraction and then change it back again. |

If you want to be able to type 1/2 without its becoming ½, then you need to
go to Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type and clear the box for "Fractions (1/2) with fraction character (½)." If you want 1/2 to become ½ most of the time but only occasionally want to type 1/2, you can press Ctrl+Z (Undo) immediately after the AutoFormat correction to revert it to plain text. -- Suzanne S.
