Default drop cap problems

The text doesn't stay with the drop cap. It flashes on screen for a split
second and then drops below the new drop cap

Default drop cap problems

This would happen if you were in Normal view rather than Print Layout, but
inserting a drop cap (frame) should throw you into Print Layout view anyway.

Default drop cap problems

The manuscript is in "PRINT" fomat. This is a critical error in that every
chapter begins with a Drop cap in the first paragraph. Sometimes it works,
Sometimes it doesn't. It's driving me nuts (not a long trip). The major
propbem seems to be with capital D.. HELP!

Double-click on the drop cap frame and make sure that the frame formatting
is "Around" and not "None."

The only question that arises is how in the world the formatting got changed
in the first place.
