When I run Word 2007 (H&S), it goes into a configuration process that
takes a few minutes. Can this be obviated. Also, right after installation, I was given three options, and I chose all three (had to do with reporting issues, etc.). This may be slowing down the application. How can I change those choices. JulioJ |

Do you have an earlier version of Word installed as well? If yes, see
http://pschmid.net/blog/2007/04/20/110 The three settings you selected shouldn't have any impact on performance. You can get to them via Office button, Word options, Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, Privacy Options.
