Default Can't continuously type a document from page to page

Some weeks ago, I fiddled with setting up two columns and section and page
breaks in a document I was working on. I think I ended up with a
single-column page at the end, because I didn't know how to get back to
normal. The settings seem to be alright to me now, though.

Since then, I've had trouble. Sometimes I'll get to the bottom of a page and
have to make a manual page break to go to the next page, although the words
I've typed will already be on the next page when I get there. I can't undo
this.

Then, often, when I do a manual page break, I find there is only one line of
typing or none on the next page, and this goes on for pages.

PLEASE HELP!

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm. In Normal.dot,
go to Format | Columns and click on the preset picture for One, which checks
the "Equal column width" box. This should solve your problem.
