Default how do I convert a docx. to a doc.?

I have Office 2007. I need to send a Word document to a secured web site BUT
it will only accept it as a doc. or a pdf. NOT a docx.

Click the Office button in the upper left. Hoer the mouse over the
Save As item so the menu switches to the Save As choices. Click the
"Word 97-2003 Document" item.

As an alternative, you can just click the Save As item so the dialog
opens. Then click the "Save as type" box at the bottom of the dialog
and choose "Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)" there.
