Don't think there is one in that font, but why does it have to be in
that font?

It is for a report where the rest of the font is Comic Sans
It is possible because there is one tick there already
It seems possible to do by assigning keystroke in Insert Symbol to Wingdings
tick
then when you use the keystroke, a tick goes into document and Font says it
is Comic Sans!?

Not sure how what you describe can be possible, but if there is a tick
mark there already, then just copy and paste it to wherever else you
need it.

It might say that the tick is from the Comic Sans font, but it isn't, it is
still the Wingdings tick.
There is no tick glyph in the Comic Sans font.

When you insert a character from a "symbol" font such as Wingdings, Word
inserts it in a protected form so that the font will not change even if you
change the font of the text around it. So your tick mark is really from
Wingdings (probably), but if you changed the text from Comic Sans to, say,
Arial, the symbol would remain the same but now claim to be Arial (even
though it's still a Wingdings character). Word used to do this more
conspicuously, inserting a SYMBOL field so that you could actually see what
was going on, but I guess users found this "too much information."
