Previously when I ran spell check, if none of the suggested words were what I
needed, I was able to modify the word directly in the top half of the spell check box. Now with Word 2003, I am unable to do this. I can click on the word, but I cannot take any action (typing, deleting, etc) to correct the word. So now, my current options are to select one of the suggested words (if appropriate) or Ignore and go through the document later on to change it. I'm sure that there's a setting that I am overlooking, but curious if anyone knows what it is off the top of their head. Thanks, Tina |
