Default Macro to display mail merge task pane

Hi

I am setting up an index document that can take users straight to the
documents that they need to use.
I've added a command button. Then recorded macro using the wizard and copied
into the command button code.
This just opens up the correct document with correct mail merge source. I
then realised that it would be better if mail merge task pane was open, so
recorded macro and added to command button code. This bit doesn't work
Help please - what do I need to do?

I don't know what you have now but try to insert this code line instead:

Application.TaskPanes(wdTaskPaneMailMerge).Visible = True
