Did you save it as a Word 97-2003 document or simply change the extension?
Word 2007 DOCX is an entirely different format and will not open in Word 2003 unless the conversion pack is present. As the takeup of Word 2007 grows, you might suggest to your employer that it would be worth installing the converters. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Word 2007 in Word 2003 format wrote: Found 2007 has .DOCX for extension, so picked 2003 extension of .DOC.
