In Word 2003 or earlier, click on File | Page Setup | Layout tab |
Vertical alignment: Top | Default | Yes | OK. If you are prompted to save changes to your Normal.dot global template when you exit Word, say yes. skidam wrote: return key starts a new paragraph more than halfway down the page. line spacing is ok. paragraph settings appear to be normal. |

In Word 2007, the only difference is how to access the Page Setup dialog
