In older versions of Word it would identify if words with punctuation in them
were spelled incorrectly for instance, medical abbreviations like b.i.d. and p.r.n. Now the spell check doesn't recognize words with punctuation in them as errors. Is there any way around this? |

Hi ?B?bGZlbG1ldA==?=,
In older versions of Word it would identify if words with punctuation in them were spelled incorrectly for instance, medical abbreviations like b.i.d. and p.r.n. Now the spell check doesn't recognize words with punctuation in them as errors. Is there any way around this? Try asking this in the word.spelling.grammar newsgroup, where Microsoft people drop by, occasionally. Be sure to specify WHICH version of Word you're currently using, and in which version you saw the behavior you prefer.
