The Word program which is part of Microsoft Office 2003 makes the simple task
of inserting or drawing a horizontal line across the page of a document cumbersome at best, extremely frustrating at the worst. Why does Microsoft have to make that simple task so difficult? Clicking on the Line icon on the Drawing Toolbar brings up a box where one is to "Create your drawing here," when all I asked it to do was create a line. And to make matters worse, when I attempt to use the help feature, it takes me to Office Online, and presents me with information I don't want. This software does so many different things, and is so complicated, they lost sight of being able to do simple things like being able to insert a simple horizontal line in a document. Microsoft, get with the program. |
