Default Urgent! How to change a symbol footnote to numbers?

Assuming they've been numbered using the automatic series of symbols and not
with custom marks, just go to Insert | Reference | Footnote, change the
"Number format" to 1, 2, 3, and make sure that "Apply changes to" is set to
"Whole document."
