I have 4 Word documents with different fonts, margins and styles which I need
to merge into 1 document. I also need to label each document as a "Exhibit 1,2,3,4" on the header. What is the easiest way of doing this? -- CM |

If you do not really need the result in a Word document, I would add the
necessary label to each document and then convert them to .pdf files and then use the Create .pdf from Multiple Files facility in Acrobat to combine them. -- Hope this helps. Frankly as they are exhibits, I would leave them as separate documents
(create a folder to keep all the documents relative to the case together) then batch print them, but if you need to submit them electronically, PDF as suggested by Doug, is the way forwards. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org CM wrote: I have 4 Word documents with different fonts, margins and styles which I need to merge into 1 document. Thank you very much for the info. I needed to maintain the Word format while
merging the documents so conversion into a PDF is no good. the purpose of merging these documents was for filing with the SEC... For the time being I'm going to have the company that does our filing take care of putting these documents together.... Perhaps Microsoft can come up with an alternative in future versions of Word.... -- CM "Graham Mayor" wrote: Frankly as they are exhibits, I would leave them as separate documents (create a folder to keep all the documents relative to the case together) then batch print them, but if you need to submit them electronically, PDF as suggested by Doug, is the way forwards. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org CM wrote: I have 4 Word documents with different fonts, margins and styles which I need to merge into 1 document.
