When I activate this option it stills prints widows and orphans

can't get widows and orphans to work although selected word 2003
Are you pressing Enter after each line of text? If so, your document consists
of many single-line paragraphs to which widows and orphans do not apply. Instead, let Word handle the line breaks and press Enter only when you want a new paragraph.
