If you delete text from within a word file and save the file, is it possible
to recover the deleted text? For something important like customer data, would it even be possible to recover it with by examining the hard disk with some sort of data reading device? Thanks in advance, DB |

Not once you close the document. If you have Word configured to save
backups, then the backup should contain the previously saved content. The chances of recovering anything from temporary files and old saved and deleted data is slim and could prove very expensive. This should serve as a wake-up call about the importance of backing up your data. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org dbsavoy wrote: If you delete text from within a word file and save the file, is it possible to recover the deleted text?
