I created copies of normal.dot and modified & added a few styles of my own.
I try to go to Tools, templates & add-ins, organizer and try to select the concerned dot file, but still the styles do not get applied always. When they do, I have to still select from various options (custom option) and then deselect those not required. Is there any way to avoid all this tedious procedure? Can't there be something automatic? You apply a style and everything falls in place? Please help. Thanks |

You cannot create Normal.dot; only Word can do that. See
