I have a letter that we are pulling the data source from Excel - lists
customer name, product name, - one customer could have multiple products.
How do we get one letter for each customer with multiple rows if necessary.
Also - 3 sections are in letter - one for if product # is changing, one if
product # remains the same, one if product prefix is changing. Some customers
will only be affected by one change. Is there a way to merge the data into
the correct positions? example below (should be in table format).
PREFIX
The following will be converting to a "46025" prefix. The remainder of the
product number will not change. There is a change to the description.

Material Description Future Material Future Description
91038-15300-00 120/1.5 Oz, Square Patty, Express
Egg,3" 46025-15300-00 120/1.5 Oz 3" Sq Pty, Tbl Rdy, PHE

SAME
The following will have no change in the product number, but the description
will change. Since no changes to your orders will be needed during this
transition, you will not receive notification as the changes occur. If you
need notification, please contact your Broker or Michael Foods Account
Representative.

Sounds like you are probably trying to perform a "multiple items per
condition (=key field)" mailmerge which Word does not really have the
ability to do:
