Can Word 2000 be downloaded?
I have Word 2000, can't afford an upgrade right now... I have disc with COA.
I already erased Word from old desktop (donated), and my new computer with no word-processing facility except Wordpad, has Vista Home Premium. It will NOT recognize the Word CD! Disc just spins and spins. Others, OK. Computer is Acer 5610Z, 2GB RAM, Pentium dual core, 160 GB HD. So I was wondering if there is a legal way, perhaps from Microsoft, to download it... thus avoiding the CD drive. I don't want or need all the apps that come with Office, just Word. -- 3-feet-tall, with tail and ''''''''tude |
