Default INCLUDING HEADERS & FOOTERS IN TABLE OF CONTENTS

It is impossible!! for me to be able to include my headers in footers into my
table of contents. I've tried many things. Please anyone, if you know how to,
let me know.

Thank you!

You have created a *formatted* AutoCorrect entry that contains a paragraph
mark or line break. Delete the AutoCorrect entry and recreate it, making sure
not to include anything but the actual (formatted) text.

You can make this task easier by pressing Ctrl+Shift+8; Word displays
nonprinting marks (paragraph marks display as ¶ symbols). For more on
nonprinting marks, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/NonPrintChars.htm.
