Default Can I create a macro that includes a drop-down form field?

I'm using MS Office Word 2003 and want to create macros that include form
fields (especially including drop-down menus). I get as far as incorporating
the drop down form field while recording the macro, but cannot populate the
drop down menu.

You will not be able to do this with the macro recorder, and it is not clear
*why* you want to do it with a macro, rather than simply create a form as a
template with the drop down form fields already included. Perhaps if you
were to explain the full nature of your requirement (including Word version)
we may be able to suggest a way forwards.
