I edit manuscripts for several independent publishers and then convert them
to PDF in order to send them to the printer. We've had several four-color books, i.e. with color photographs of various sizes, basically thumbnails, that suddenly disappear when I do the convert procedure. I've upgrated to Adobe 8 Standards and that did not solve the problem. I made a test page in word containing only the jpeg and the conversion produced a blank page. BUT, when I went to "My Pictures" and pulled up the original 8X10 jpg, it converted instantly. I am pulling my hair out over this. The book was supposed to have gone to the printer last week. Any help would be gratefully received. Trisha8438 |
