I am working in Word 2007 in Compatibility mode. I have included the path and
filename fields in the normal template. I added these into the top row of a table in the footer and set the whole row to be size 8 font. When I open a new blank document the footer size increases to 12 if the new document has a long file name. Any suggestions on how to force the footer size to stay at size 8? |

Modify the footer style to 8 Point and make sure the field code is in the
footer style. Add to Quick Styles and Save your document as a template. Hope this helps "Islay Trainer" Islay wrote in message ... I am working in Word 2007 in Compatibility mode.
