Hi...running MS Word 2004 on a non-Intel IMac. When I create hyperlinks and
click on them, they refuse to link me anywhere. However, the text preceding them notes they are hyperlinks. So. 1) how do I make the text turn blue and act as a hyperlink? and 2) How do I lose the actual text that says HYPERLINK? Thank you for dealing w/my ignorance on these matters, Mat Edelson |

Hi Mat,
You've got View Fields on. So the hyperlink has been created, you just can't see it. Go to Word | Preferences | View and uncheck Field Codes. Then you should see blue underlined clickable hyperlinks. If that doesn't work, or for future Mac Office questions, it's better to post in the Mac-specific MS groups. See here for Google/Entourage gateway to newsgroups for MacWord, MacExcel, and other MS programs for the Mac: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=newsgroups Mat Edelson wrote: Hi...running MS Word 2004 on a non-Intel IMac.
