Default how do i delete a line (made of contunuous dash..)? (in word)

I've made some horizontal lines between parts of the text. I made them by
typing the dash (this _ or this - ) several times. Now i cannot delete them
no way!
Any idea?

Try putting a hard return before and after the continuous line - highlight
both the hard returns with the line in the middle and delete - hope that helps
