Default Auto Format Headaches...

I'm using word 2007 and want to TURN OFF any auto style changes. I've gone
into Word Options from the Office button, then under proofing I have turned
off all AutoFormat options to do with heading changes etc, but the document
is STILL changing! Everytime I hit enter the next line is turning into
Heading 3!!! I just want it to be normal text, unless I manually change it to
other headings...

VERY FRUSTRATED!

It would seem that the style you have at the cursor has a parameter set to
change the following style. To confirm, start Word in its safe mode by
holding the CTRL key whilst starting Word then confirm that you want to open
in safe mode at the prompt. This behaviour should not be present in safe
mode. To ensure it stays that way, with Word closed, rename the normal
template (normal.dotm) to oldnormal.dotm and restart Word.
