numbering 1 from page fifth
Insert a section break before the 5th page, turn off page numbering in
section 1, and set section 2's numbering to begin with page 1. For inserting the break. press Alt+I B, next page. For controlling numbering, press Alt+I U, and click on Format. (If I knew which version of Word you're using, I could point you at the correct menu or ribbon commands... but the shortcuts work in Word 97 through 2007.) -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "jitu" wrote in message ... how to apply page numbers starting from 1 in page fifth? |
