How do I add a word without losing the following words and having.
When I add a word to a document, the following words or letters are typed
over, and I must retype the remainder of the sentence. I am sure there is a default setting to allow words to be added without changing the rest of the document. Thank you. |

Press the INS key or double click the OVR indicator on the Word status bar
to toggle between insert and overtype modes. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Arnie wrote: When I add a word to a document, the following words or letters are typed over, and I must retype the remainder of the sentence. Go to Help at the top, look for 'OVERWRITE' for the solution.
Or look at the tool bar at the bottom and you will see OVR. Click on it to solve. "Arnie" wrote in message ... Thank you!
