How does it not work? Do you see an error message? Or are you getting
unexpected results? Explain what you are doing when it doesn't work, and what you expect to happen. Also, note that watermarks are actually objects anchored to the page header. This means that you can work with them pretty much the same as any other such object. Actually I figured it out (with a little help). You have to save the file
before you can add the watermark. As soon as I saved it, it was no longer grayed out. Thank you either way for your help. Sometimes, it is the simplest answer :0) "Stefan Blom" wrote: How does it not work? Do you see an error message? Or are you getting unexpected results? I'm glad you got it sorted.
Just out of curiosity, which version of Word was this? What kind of watermark? Custom or built-in? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "brylynn74" wrote in message ... It is Windows 2003 and I was trying to put the word "DRAFT" on the back of
the page. "Stefan Blom" wrote: I'm glad you got it sorted. Just out of curiosity, which version of Word was this? What kind of watermark? Maybe it is just the way they have it set up at work or something. I have no
idea. I don't have a problem at home with Windows 2007 either. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: I have no difficulty adding a DRAFT watermark to an unsaved document in Word 2003. -- Suzanne S.
