I can't get the the number of the currently displayed Word page to show in
the Windows taskbar (bar at bottom of page). On other computers as I move through the Word document it changes to reflect the page I've clicked on - i.e in a 54-page document, if I'm working on page 17, "page 17/54" (or something like that) would show at the bottom of my screen. |

This information has never been shown in the Windows taskbar, but it is
shown in the Word status bar, which you evidently don't have displayed. Go to Tools | Options | View and check the box for "Status bar." -- Suzanne S.
